What TrustMentor is
TrustMentor publishes audio training courses for professionals. They are study aids. TrustMentor is operated by Jan Tore Hafell, Oslo, Norway. By using a TrustMentor app you accept these terms.
No TrustMentor course is an approved or official source. Courses are built from published material but are not produced, endorsed or reviewed by the manufacturers, employers, awarding bodies or regulators of the fields they cover. They do not replace official documentation, employer procedures, or formal training and assessment.
The authoritative source always wins
Practice differs between organisations and changes over time. Where anything in a TrustMentor course disagrees with the authoritative source for your situation — your employer's procedures, the current manufacturer publication, the governing standard — that source is correct and TrustMentor is not. Never use this material as the basis for an operational decision.
Aviation courses in particular
TrustMentor A320 is not produced, endorsed or reviewed by Airbus, by any operator, or by any aviation authority. It does not replace the FCOM, the QRH, your operator's OM-A or OM-B, type-rating training, or any other approved documentation. Aircraft configurations differ between operators; where this material and your operator's approved documentation disagree, the approved documentation governs without exception.
No warranty
The content is provided as is. Considerable effort goes into accuracy — lessons are generated from source documentation and verified — but no warranty is given that it is complete, current or free of error, and it may become outdated without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on this material, including any consequence of an action taken or not taken in training, examination or flight operations. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Your account
Your account is personal. Do not share sign-in codes or allow others to use your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Content is not yours to redistribute
Lesson audio, scripts and other course material remain the property of the operator. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, record, republish, resell or otherwise redistribute them, or use them to train machine-learning systems, without written permission.
Availability
The service is provided on a best-effort basis and may be unavailable, changed or withdrawn without notice. TrustMentor is currently in testing and should be treated accordingly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes fall to the ordinary Norwegian courts, with Oslo tingrett as legal venue.
